Ο Κωνσταντίνος Καρακασίδης, γεννημένος το 1982 στη Θεσσαλονίκη, εντάχθηκε στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1990 στον σύλλογο «Φάρος Ποντίων» Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου πρόεδρος ήταν ο Στάθης Ευσταθιάδης. Υπήρξε μέλος του χορευτικού του Συλλόγου καθώς και του θεατρικού τμήματος και της ιστορικής χορωδίας του «Φάρου Ποντίων».
Έμαθε μόνος του ποντιακή φλογέρα, ενώ αργότερα ξεκίνησε να γράφει και στίχους στην ποντιακή με κάποια από αυτά να βρίσκουν τον δρόμο τους και στη δισκογραφία. Το 2018 συμμετείχε στη δημιουργία του επετειακού λογότυπου για τα 100 χρόνια από τη Γενοκτονία των Ποντίων.
Δημιούργησε τον «Ποντιακό Στίχο» (pontianlyrics.gr), μια ψηφιακή πλατφόρμα καταγραφής ποντιακών στίχων της ποντιακής δισκογραφίας.
Konstantinos Karakasidis, born in 1982 in Thessaloniki, joined the Faros Pontion Association of Thessaloniki in the early 1990s, where Stathis Efstathiadis was president. He was a member of the association’s dance group, as well as its theater department and historic choir.
He taught himself to play the Pontian flogera, and later began writing lyrics in the Pontian dialect — some of which eventually made their way into recorded music. In 2018, he took part in the creation of the commemorative logo marking 100 years since the Genocide of the Pontians.
He founded “Pontiakos Stixos” (pontianlyrics.gr), a digital platform dedicated to collecting and documenting Pontian song lyrics from Pontian discography.
