Στην εκπομπή του κ, Νίκου Ασλανίδη "Αληθινά Σενάρια" είναι ο Γιώργος Καρυπίδης ο λυράρης που μετά από πολλά χρόνια σταμάτησε να παίζει λόγω ατηχήματος, αλλα με την βοήθεια του γιατρού του και την δύναμη της ψυχής του, ξανά έπιασε την λύρα στα χέρια του μετά από 26 χρόνια και στην ουσία έμαθε να παίζει απ' την αρχή. Μια ξεχωριστή ιστορία για τον φίλο μας τον Γιώργο Καρυπίδη.

Όπως λέει κι ο Γιώργος στο βίντεο, έπαιζε, παίζει, και θα παίζει λύρα για πολλα χρόνια ακόμα! Σε θαυμάζουμε φίλε Γιώργο.

"Γιώργος Καρυπίδης - Η Επιστροφή Ενός Καλλιτέχνη

Ο Γιώργος Καρυπίδης ήταν επαγγελματίας λυράρης. Μόλις εκπλήρωσε τη στρατιωτική του θητεία, μετανάστευσε στη Φιλαδέλφεια των ΗΠΑ, όπου συνεργάστηκε με γνωστούς τραγουδιστές. Το 1995 τραυματίστηκε σοβαρά σε τροχαίο ατύχημα και έχασε το δεξί του χέρι. Από τότε δεν ξανάπαιξε λύρα. Πριν δυο χρόνια όμως, ο γιατρος που τον παρακολουθούσε του πρότεινε να συχεχίσει να παίζει με τη βοήθεια μιας πατέντας που του έκανε.."

Featured on the television show "Alithina Senaria" (True Scenarios) with Nikos Aslanidis, is Giorgos Karipidis, the Pontian lyra player who after many years ceased playing because of an automobile accident. With the help of his doctor and the power of his soul, Giorgos again started to play the lyra after 26 years and has basically learned to play from scratch. A very special story about our friend Giorgos Karipidis. .

As George says in the video, he has been playing, is playing, and will play lyra for many more years! We admire your courage, Giorika!

Giorgos Karipidis was a professional lyra player. After completing his military service, he immigrated to Philadelphia, USA, where he worked with well-known singers. In 1995 he was seriously injured in a traffic accident and lost his right arm. He has not played lyra ever since. But two years ago, the doctor who was treating him suggested that he continue playing with the help of a patent he made... "

Το επεισόδιο «Ποντιακή Γενοκτονία: Μια ανοιχτή πληγή της Μνήμης» της εκπομπής «Αληθινά Σενάρια» της ΕΡΤ3. Έναν αιώνα μετά την έναρξη της χρονικής περιόδου κατά την οποία συντελέστηκε η Ποντιακή Γενοκτονία, χιλιάδες Έλληνες ταξιδεύουν στον Εύξεινο Πόντο για να γνωρίσουν τον τόπο των προγόνων τους. Σε ένα από αυτά τα ταξίδια, απόγονοι προσφύγων από τους νομούς Πέλλας και Πιερίας επισκέπτονται το χωριό Άργος, στην περιοχή της Νεοκαισαρείας. Ο Νίκος Ασλανίδης καταγράφει με τον φακό της εκπομπής τη συγκίνηση και τα έντονα συναισθήματα που βιώνουν οι άνθρωποι αυτοί, όταν αντικρίζουν τα σπίτια των παππούδων τους. Η πλέον συγκλονιστική στιγμή είναι όταν εντοπίζουν τα κοιμητήρια των προγόνων τους και προσπαθούν να συγκεντρώσουν τα σκορπισμένα τους οστά για τα μεταφέρουν στην Ελλάδα, ώστε γίνει ο ενταφιασμός τους.  

The episode "Pontian Genocide: An Open Sore of Memory" is broadcast on ERT3's "Alithina Senaria" (True Stories) show. A century after the time when the Pontian Genocide took place, thousands of Greeks travel to the Black Sea to discover their ancestors' villages. On one of these trips, descendants of refugees from the prefectures of Pella and Pieria visit the village of Argos, in the Neokesareia region. Nikos Aslanidis captures on film the emotion and intense feelings these people experience when they see their grandparents' houses. The most shocking moment is when they find the cemeteries of their ancestors and try to gather their scattered bones to transport them to Greece so that they become buried.
