Ο Τριαντάφυλλος Πουρσανίδης γεννήθηκε στις 23 Σεπτεμβρίου 1950 στο Παρόχθιο Κιλκίς. Επαγγελματικά, ήταν βιοτέχνης (μαρμαράς) και διακρίθηκε για τη μακρόχρονη και ενεργή παρουσία του στην τοπική κοινωνία και τον ποντιακό πολιτισμό. Ήταν ιδρυτής και Πρόεδρος της ομάδας «Ηρακλής Αμπελοκήπων» επί 25 χρόνια, καθώς και Πρόεδρος της Α.Ε.Α. Αμπελοκήπων για 9 χρόνια.

Ως παρουσιαστής της εκπομπής «Αλησμόνητες Πατρίδες» στο κανάλι Europe 1 και ραδιοφωνικός παραγωγός στο Ράδιο «Πόντος-Λελεύω σε», φιλοξένησε σχεδόν το σύνολο των καλλιτεχνών της ποντιακής μουσικής παράδοσης, δίνοντας παράλληλα βήμα σε νέους καλλιτέχνες να παρουσιάσουν το μουσικό τους ταλέντο. Οι εκπομπές του θεωρούνται ιστορικές για τη διατήρηση και την προβολή της ποντιακής μουσικής κληρονομιάς.

Διοργάνωνε οδοιπορικά στις Αλησμόνητες Πατρίδες, καθώς και σε μοναστήρια και πόλεις της Ελλάδος, συμβάλλοντας στην πολιτιστική σύνδεση και τη μνήμη των προγόνων.

Στην πολιτική του σταδιοδρομία, εκλέχτηκε Δημοτικός Σύμβουλος στον ενιαίο Δήμο Αμπελοκήπων-Μενεμένης το 2010 και επανεξελέγη το 2014. Διετέλεσε Αντιδήμαρχος Αστικοδημοτικής Κατάστασης και Ληξιαρχείου και στο παρελθόν Αντιδήμαρχος Αθλητισμού.

Ο Τριαντάφυλλος Πουρσανίδης απεβίωσε στις 27 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025, μετά από γενναία μάχη με τον καρκίνο, λίγες μέρες μετά από τιμητική εκδήλωση που είχε οργανωθεί για να τιμηθούν τα 50 χρόνια προσφοράς του στον ποντιακό πολιτισμό και να συγκεντρωθούν χρήματα για να στηριχθεί στη μάχη που έδινε. Η προσφορά του και η αγάπη του για τον ποντιακό πολιτισμό θα μείνουν ανεξίτηλες στη μνήμη όλων.

 

Triantafillos Poursanidis was born on September 23, 1950, in Parochthio, Kilkis. Professionally, he was an artisan (marble worker) and was distinguished for his long-standing and active presence in the local community and Pontian culture. He was the founder and President of the team “Iraklis Ampelokipon” for 25 years, as well as President of A.E.A. Ampelokipon for 9 years.

As the host of the program “Unforgettable Homelands” («Αλησμόνητες Πατρίδες») on Europe 1 channel and a radio producer on Radio Pontos–Lelevo Se, he hosted almost the entire spectrum of artists from the Pontian musical tradition, while also giving young artists the opportunity to showcase their musical talent. His programs are considered historic for the preservation and promotion of Pontian musical heritage.

He organized cultural pilgrimages to the Unforgettable Homelands, as well as to monasteries and cities across Greece, contributing to cultural connection and the remembrance of ancestors.

In his political career, he was elected Municipal Councilor of the unified Municipality of Ampelokipon–Menemeni in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. He served as Deputy Mayor for Civil Status and Registry, and in the past as Deputy Mayor of Sports.

Triantafillos Poursanidis passed away on September 27, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer, just a few days after a tribute event had been organized to honor his 50 years of contributions to Pontian culture and to raise funds to support him in his struggle. His contribution and love for Pontian culture will remain indelible in everyone’s memory.
