| It is with great pleasure that we invite you to Chicago for the upcoming Pan-Pontian Federation of the USA and Canada Youth Awareness Convention that will take place on Labor Day weekend from Friday, August 29 through Sunday August 31, 2014. Please pre-register here PROGRAM Friday, August 29, 2014 3-7 pm - Registration at the Courtyard Chicago Hotel 7pm- 2am - Registration and Welcoming Glendi - Cultural Center of Hellenic American Community Saturday, August 30, 2014 8:30am-3:30pm – Genocide Teaching Guide Seminar for Educators at Courtyard Hotel. Lunch - 12:30-1:30 pm 10am-3pm – Youth Workshops on Pontian culture and history at Meridian Banquet Hall. Lunch - 12:30-1:30PM (shuttle will be available to and from hotel) 12:00-4pm - Pan-Pontian Federation Meetings at Courtyard Hotel 6pm-1am - Dinner Dance at the Meridian featuring Kostas Fetfatsidis (vocals and lyra) and Peter Skoupas (ntaouli) (shuttle will be available to and from hotel) Sunday, August 31, 2014 9am -12pm - Church Service at St. John Greek Orthodox Church 2-5pm - Dance performances (Details TBA: This event will take place only if there is sufficient interest to participate by member associations.)
